We have offices in London and New York and have developed numerous international campaigns for clients including BMW, GlaxoSmithKline, MINI, Nokia Siemens Networks, Rolls-Royce, Sony and Vertu.
Every client is different, and so we create a bespoke network offering in each case. This allows us to reduce cost and inefficiency by only having a local presence where the client really requires it. We believe that the old-fashioned network model of ‘an office in every market’ is expensive and inefficient. Instead, we utilise new technologies, ‘transcreation’ experts, partner agencies and international copy-delivery specialists to create successful multi-market campaigns. By working in this way, Engine can comfortably take the lead role in tackling any global marketing challenge.
Our US office opened in February 2010 with Martin Puris becoming Chief Executive Officer and John Bernbach Chief Operating Officer. The office sets out to mirror the model of Engine in the UK, aiming to provide a range of best in class communication services.
In October 2010 Engine acquired Deep Focus, the New York-based full-service interactive marketing agency. Deep Focus was named ‘Best Social Media Marketing Agency of 2010’ at the Digiday Awards and their clients include Microsoft, Nintendo, Diageo, AMC, Weight Watchers, Bulgari, The New York Museum of Modern Art, Samsung and ESPN.
In December 2010 Engine acquired Noise, a US agency specialising in marketing to young adults (18-34). Headquartered in New York City, with an office in San Francisco, Noise creates and markets innovative products, programs, and interactive platforms for new and established consumer brands, including Coca Cola (vitaminwater), Panasonic, and Chase cards.
